What We Do

Westside Alliance works to revitalize the residential and commercial areas along Saginaw and Oakland between Stanley and Grand, using Main Street strategies related to design, promotion, economic restructuring, and building capacity of residents and businesses.

Westside Alliance is a program of NorthWest Initiative, which seeks to create healthy communities in Northwest Lansing. Through community engagement and mobilization, the NorthWest Initiative advances the development of healthy, vibrant communities by building capacity to identify needs and formulate strategies to create change.
